We keep this simple: this website doesn't use cookies or trackers, we don't sell your information, and you can ask us to show, correct or delete it.
This policy explains what personal information AdWalk (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it. It covers this website (adwalk.in), the AdWalk app (adwalk.in/login), our business-details form (adwalk.in/form) and the QR codes on our screens. AdWalk runs moving advertising screens in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
What we collect
- Just visiting this website
- Nothing that identifies you. We don't use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics, and the site loads nothing from other companies. Your language choice is saved on your own device. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
- Contacting us
- If you message or call us on WhatsApp, phone or email, we see your name, number and whatever you send, and we use it to reply.
- Our business-details form
- Organisation name, contact person, phone number, business type, what you sell, your location (state, city, pincode and area) and the name of the AdWalk representative you are working with. It is stored in a Google Sheet that our team uses to follow up.
- AdWalk accounts
- Accounts for advertisers, our field team, runners and admins are created by our team. We store your name, login ID, contact numbers, business name, location, a password (kept only in scrambled, hashed form), the ads, pictures and videos you upload, and records of your wallet, payments and when your ads played. For our own team we also keep earnings records.
- Scanning a QR code on a screen
- We record the time, which screen and advertiser, the scanner's IP address and device or browser details, and, if the advertiser runs an offer, the offer code shown. We don't ask scanners for their name or number.
Your public business page
Each advertiser has a page that opens when someone scans their QR code. It shows what the advertiser chose to put there, such as business name, location, pictures, offer and contact details, and anyone with the link can see it.
How we use it
- To run the service: show ads, take bookings, charge for ads that played, and pay our team.
- To contact you about your ads, your account or your enquiry.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent misuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
We don't sell your personal information and we don't use it to profile you for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Our team, with access limited by role: field representatives see their own customers, and admins see their own area.
- Service providers that help us run AdWalk: our cloud hosting provider (Railway), Google (Sheets and Apps Script, for the business-details form) and WhatsApp (when you message us).
- Payments. UPI payments go from your UPI app straight to our bank account. We never see your UPI PIN or bank login.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords only in hashed form and limit access by role. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us if you notice anything wrong.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active and as long as we need it for accounts, tax and legal records. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. We'll reply within a reasonable time, and we may have to keep some records the law requires. We handle personal data as required under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
AdWalk is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
